Taxidermy Training
« on: October 21, 2012, 05:56:14 PM »
Looking forward several years (about 8 now),  I will retire from my present job in Law Enforcement.  Between now and then I want to develop a new retirement skill that will be enjoyable, based at home and augment my retirement.  As an avid hunter and fisherman, the idea of taxidermy has been an interest for some time.    Would someone in the field be willing to give me some advise on reputable schools, is an apprenticeship a good way to go,  Do any of the well respected taxidermists in the area need or want part time help?   I have many questions and would appreciate any input.   Respectfully Yours,  Riverrat
